1st Test: India demolishes WI by 92 runs and an innings
Umesh Yadav gave the best start for Day 4 for India by removing in first over, Darren Bravo int the first test match which happened in the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium at North Sound on Sunday. Ravichandran Ashwin’s 7 got 83 is his second best figures in his career and it ensured that India makes a 1-0 lead in the test match series of four matches which gave us a huge victory of 92 runs and an innings.
In the first innings, the fast bowlers sparked the down fall of the hosts, Ashwin was the second most happening. The Tamil Nadu’s offspinner managed no wicket in his first chance, but he sweeped the wickets in second taking away five wickets and ripped the batting line-up of WI. The key element that breezed the West India’s line up and the presence in the bowling of Ashwin is Drift. The breeze also helped Ashwin, as it was strong and was in the same direction. Shannon Gabriel’s knocking off by Ashwin wrapped up things and handed the India victory sparing a day.
