62nd​ ​NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2015
(PUBLIC SCREENING OF NATIONAL AWARD WINNING FILMS FOR 2014)

May 4th​-​13th​,​ 2015, Siri Fort Auditorium- II

The 62nd​ National Film Festival 2015 will begin in New Delhi on May 4th​,​ 2015. All the National Award winning films for the year 2014 will be screened for the Public during the festival. Being organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at Siri Fort Auditorium Complex. 28 Feature Films and 23 Non-Feature Films will be screened during the 10 days festival.

The festival will open with the Marathi feature film “Court” in the gracious presence of Director of the film Court, Shri Chaitanya Tamhane and Producer of the film Shri Vivek Gomber on 4th​ May, 2015 at 4:00pm at Siri Fort Auditorium- II.

The other award winning feature films which will be screening during the festival are Chotoder Chobi (Bengali), Khwada (Marathi), Asha Jaoar Majhe (Bengali), Saivam (Tamil), Kuttram Kadithal (Tamil), jigarthanda (Tamil), Kaakkaa Muttai (Tamil), Punjab 1984 (Punjabi), Mary Kom (Hindi), Ain (Malayalam), 1983 (Malayalam), Killa (Marathi), Elizabeth Ekadashi (Marathi), Othello (Assamese), Chotushkone (Bengali), Queen (Hindi), Nirbashito (Bengali), Haider (Hindi), Chandamaama Kathalu (Telugu), Orong (Rabha), Nachom IA Kumpasar (Konkani), Pagdi the Honour (Hindi and Haryanvi), Harivu (Kannada), Nanu Avanalla Avalu (Kannada), Bhoothnath Returns (Hindi), Aadim Vichar (Odia), Ottaal (Malayalam).

The other non-feature films which will be screened during the festival are Aaranyak (Marathi), Sound of Joy (English), Aamar Katha : Story of Binodini (Bengali), Towards The Silver Lining (Hindi), 5 O’clock Accidents (English). Can’t Take This Shit Anymore (Hindi), I Cannot Give You My Forest (Kui), Daughter’s of Mother India (Hindi), Kapila (Malayalam), Life Force India’s Western Ghats (English), Nitya Kalyani- Oru Mohiniyatta Padham (Malayalam), Goonga Pahalwan (Hindi), Tender is the Sight (Bengali), Gunjaa (Bhojpuri), Behind The Glass Wall (English), Seek and Hide (Hindi), Qissa-E-Parsi: The Parsi Story (English, Hindi), Phum Shang (English), Komal (English), Mitraa (Marathi), Tigress Blood (English), Documentation of Clay Image Makers of Kumartuli (English), A Poet, A City and A Footballer.
