Vishal, the muscular hunk in Tamil Film Industry is known for his mass masala roles, and he has done class roles quite rarely in his career. But finally, he has done a slick action thriller, Kathakali, and the film has hit the screens on January 14, 2015.
The film is directed by National Award winning filmmaker Pandiraj, and it has none other than the ravishing Catherine Tresa in the role of lady lead.
The film is set in the backdrop of a rainy night, and it is less than two hours in length. The movie showcases the life of Vishal in the midst of that scary night. Director Pandiraj has just included two songs in the film which is a rare thing in Kollywood.
The film is locking horns with movies like Tharai Thappattai, Gethu and Rajini Murugan, and this makes it difficult to predict its Box Office fate.
