Srimanthudu is one of the biggest blockbusters of this year, which was the second highest grosser in tollywood after S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali. many producers from bollywood show their interest in remaking Srimanthudu. many telugu movies were remade in bollywood and made huge profits from the box office.
Srimanthudu features Mahesh Babu in the lead role. the film is written and directed by Koratala Siva. which is co-produced by Mahesh Babu himself under his home banner. earlier Mahesh Babu’s Pokkiri remade in bollywood, which was helmed by Prabhudheva and had Salman Khan in lead titled Wanted.
According to the reports, Hrithik Roshan liked the script of Srimanthudu and he is interested in playing the lead role and also heard that he has suggested few changes in the movie’s climax. if the news is to be belive, this movie will become a another blockbuster hit in bollywood.
Srimanthudu also features Shruti Haasan in the female lead. while Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Sukanya and Harish Uthaman in the supporting roles.
The film narrates the story of Harsha Vardhan, the sole heir of his father Ravikanth’s business empire. After being informed by his friend Charuseela to know about his and his father’s ancestral roots in a backward village named Devarakota, he adopts the village and tries to improve the standard of living of the local people and the infrastructure of the village which angers the local crime boss Sashi and his brother Venkata Ratnam , a politician.
