Janani Iyer is an Indian actress and model who appears in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She began her modelling career during her studies and she appeared in over 150 T.V advertisements. However, she said that she always dreamt of becoming an actress and choosed acting to be her “passion”. During her modelling career, she came into view in insignificant cameo role in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010), though she initially signed the later film to play the second heroine role.
