The famous pop icon Taylor Swift took home four awards on Sunday night at iHeart Radio awards. She wasted not even a second in thanking all the people who inspired her during the making of her recent album 1989. The other nominations for the Album of the year were 25 – Adele, Beauty Behind the Madness – The weekend, IN The Lonely Hour – Sam Smith, X – . Taylor Swift also won the Female artist of the year award that night among the other nominees Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor, and Selena Gomez. Taylor also thanked her Boyfriend Calvin Harris. “For the first time, I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and the crowds were all gone. So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that and I love you guys so much” she said on the stage as she accepted the award for The Best Tour.
While she took home the awards for the Female artist of the year and the Album of the year for 1989, she also thanked the presenter Justin Timberlake “for the example he set for all of us in this room.” Taylor Swift’s Blank Space was nominated for the Song of the year. 1989(album in full) – Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift and Bad Blood – Alessia Cara covering Taylor Swift were nominated for the Best Cover Song. “Bad Blood” – Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar was nominated for the Best Collaboration. Taylor Swift’s “crazy girl” with running Mascara from Blank Space video was nominated for The Most Meme-able moment, a new category.
