Ahead of ‘Puli’ film release,Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s house raided by Income Tax Department. Raids were going on at Vijay’s resort and offices. Income Tax Department also conducted raids on the residences of Actress Nayanthara and Samantha.
“Puli” is made on a budget of Rs 100+ crore and this factor seems to have drawn the attention of the Income Tax Department. The Hindu reports that, the Income Tax Department were suspecting that the team might have evaded taxes.
Puli is an upcoming Tamil fantasy film, which features Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Shruti Hassan, Sudeep, Hansika Motwani and Bollywood queen Sridevi in lead roles. The movie is written and directed by Chimbu Devan, which is slated to release on 1st October 2015 worldwide.
