Arjun Kapoor one of the fastest growing young stars in Bollywood may soon share screen space with Shraddha Kapoor. According to reports, this movie will be the film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, and it will be directed by Mohit Suri.
In the initial days after the movie’s announcement, the makers of the film have planned to rope in Sushant Singh Rajput to play the role of male lead. But things did not work out as expected, and now it has been almost confirmed that Arjun Kapoor will do the role of male lead in this movie.
Expectations are sky high about this movie as Mohit Suri is an acclaimed filmmaker, and he is expected to create magic when joined hands with Chetam Bhagat. Mohit and Chetan will jointly produce this movie.
Shraddha Kapoor’s previous movies include, Ek Villain and Aashiqui 2.
‘Half Girlfriend’ will showcase the life of a young Bihari guy who enrolls himself in an English medium College in Delhi. Things takes a new turn when he falls in love with a rich English speaking girl.
