The film did decent business on its second weekends. Varun Dhawan and Nawazzuddin Siddiqui starrer as one would have expected a total like this to be earned during the film’s lifetime run, considering its dark and disturbing theme. Varun and Nawaz have a decent fan following and since he is receiving rave reviews for his performance, the film is certainly benefiting from it. Badlapur is riding high on the positive word of mouth. The film received amazing critics responses and also impressed the audiences. Release of Yash Raj’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha which is high on buzz, the collections of Badlapur had declined in weekend. The film has collected around 1.50 Crores on its 11th day (2nd Monday) at domestic box office.
Due to two new releases, the film lost a decent screen count and has slowed down at the domestic box office. The film is expected to do decent too due to positive buzz around the film. Varun and Nawaz’s movie has managed to draw in crowd towards the movie theater halls abroad as well. Badlapur is expected to collect around 1 Crores by the end of 12th day.
