The film Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles while Srikanth, Aadhi, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Rahul Varma and Vidyullekha Raman in the supporting roles.
The soundtrack and background score for the film is composed by S. Thaman and cinematography is handled by Rishi Punjabi.
Allu Arjun wanted to release Sarrainodu on 8 April 2016 coinciding his birthday week but later postponed the film’s worldwide release date to 22 April 2016 in order to avoid clash with his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s film Sardaar Gabbar Singh.
