Brothers is so far the biggest opener in Akshay Kumar’s career as it opened to 15+ crores on the first day. The second day being saturday was also good for the movie as it was Independence day and a holiday for many. The movie raised around 15-20 crores on the second day.
Brothers also has Jaqueline Fernandes as the female lead and Jackie Shroff playing an important role. The movie is directed by Karan Malhotra and is produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions.
