Unni R is considered to be one of the most impeccable writers in Malayalam literary arena, and he has already proved his magic in writing movie script through the movie ‘Munnariyippu’ which starred Mammootty in the lead role. Expectations were sky high when he joined hands with Martin Prakkat and Dulquer Salmaan for ‘Charlie’.
All the expectations were justified when the movie hit the screens on December 24, 2015. The film succeeded in impressing both the audiences and critics, and it shattered many collection records during its first week run.
The film has now reached its third week, and is still going strong in Box Office. Parvathi and Aparna has done the roles of lady leads in the movie. Nedumudi Venu, Tovino Thomas and Ramesh Pisharadi forms the supporting star cast in this movie.
