Dulquer Salmaan‘s much awaited film Charlie has hit the screens on December 24, 2015. Charlie is directed, co-written and co-produced by Martin Prakkat. The film has has got the massive opening at the box office with mixed reviews from critics and public. this was clearly evident in the Box Office collection figures of the 2nd day.
As per credible reports, the movie has collected more than ₹ 2.31 Cr in the 2nd day. Charlie has collected ₹ 2.45 Cr in the 1st day. It should be noted that this is for the first time that a Malayalam movie is collecting more than 2 Crore in its opening day. Through this movie, Dulquer proved that he is the most top rated young actor in the state.
The film has succeeded in getting positive reviews from all corners, and if it goes like this, the movie will surely emerge as a Blockbuster.
Parvathi and Aparna have done the roles of lady leads in this movie. Music of this movie is composed by Gopi Sundar.
