Deepika Still Not Sure About Doing Padmavati: While we all know Bhansali’s next upcoming film Padmavati is all set to go on the floors. Bhansali offered Deepika to play lead role as Padmavati in film. But,Deepika still not sure about doing “padmavati”.
Deepika Padukone refused to comment on reports that she will once again be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next “Padmavati”. The film is based on oppressive ruler Alauddin Khilji’s obsession for Rani Padmavati.
According to reports, Ranveer will play Alauddin Khilji and Deepika will be seen as Padmavati. It is said that the scripts have been shared to the actors and Ranveer is excited to come on board as soon as he finish Befikre film which is directing by Adithya Chopra opposite Vaani Kapoor. Till yet, we did not heard any news from Deepika.

After the success of Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani, it’s abuzzed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has roped in Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for yet another period love story that is set to go on the floors this September.
When asked about the project, Deepika said, “Why don’t you ask Sanjay sir, he is here. He will be able to tell you. I think IIFA was a good platform to announce it. But then I don’t know. I can’t say anything at the moment. It is up to Sanjay to confirm.”
Deepika confirmed that she will begin shooting for her next film in September. However, she did not reveal which film it is going to be. She didn’t even reveal the genre of the film.
Sanjay preferred to keep tight-lipped when question about his next project on Queen of Chittor Padmavati. But, he hinted that he would immediately get back work for his next movie. “No time to party; rather I would get back to the next project and work hard,” he said while interacting with the media at the post show press conference. Speaking about his win, Bhansali said that this award happened after a long time which makes him feel wonderful.
