Diana Penty In Happy Bhag Jayegi: The poster shows a girl dressed up in a red bride attire, on which she had put on a travelling bag, tying her shoes lace and runs away. The girl’s identity is though not revealed here, presumably she is Diana.
The motion poster of Aanand L Rai’s next production Happy Bhag Jayegi released recently and has us looking curious. This film stars Diana Penty, who was last seen in Cocktail alongside Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
After Cocktail, we have never seen her in a any Bollywood film apart from a snide reference about her name in Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum. Now years later, this model turned actress is all set to make comeback in Happy Bhag Jayegi. Going by the poster, we are sure she is running away from marriage.
The film has been directed by Mudassar Aziz, who last’s venture was 2010’s Dulha Mil Gaya. The film also stars Ali Fazal, Momal Sheikh and Jimmy Shergill. Happy Bhag Jayegi has been co-produced by Rai and Krishika Lulla of Eros International.
The film also stars Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal, Jimmy Sheirgill and Pakistani actress Momal Sheikh.
The makers have released the first teaser poster of the film, which has Diana Penty. We think its her, since the we only see the girl from behind, wearing bridal clothes, on which she had put on a travelling bag and has also worn running shoes. She is all set to run away, maybe on the eve of her wedding day, reminding us of Julia Roberts’very popular romcom Runaway Bride. Whether she actually runs away or not, or whether she is really Diana Penty or what Abhay Deol has to do with all madness…well, we have to wait for more details.
Happy Bhag Jayegi is a romantic-comedy and will hit theatres on August 19.
