Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya Wedding Celebrations : Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya’s marriage in Bhopal last night was totally dreamy and regal. It was a proper traditional Hindu wedding with sangeet, mehendi and haldi rituals.
Television audience’s favourite Ishi Ma aka Divyanka Tripathi of Star Plus’s popular TV show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, tied the knot with actor Vivek Dahiya in Bhopal last night. The wedding took place according to Hindu rituals and both the bride and the groom looked gorgeous.
After cherishing every bit of their grand Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies, the two are now tied the knot. The nuptial will be followed by the Bidaai ceremony today(9th July) after which the couple will head to Chandigarh for a grand reception party on 10th July. While Bhopal is Divyanka’s hometown, Chandigarh is where the groom hails from. Therefore, the lovebirds have made sure that they celebrate their union with their near and dear ones in both the towns.
The glowing bride stated, “I had wedding jitters when I was in Mumbai, but I was at ease once I reached Bhopal. I enjoyed all the rituals and danced the most. I am the happiest bride on earth.”
Divyanka wore a red-&-gold lehenga choli by Kalki Fashion along with some traditional kundan jewellery and actress changed a yellow, pink and green outfit for pheras. vivek wore a white and gold mixed sherwani.
Vivek and she had plans to co-ordinate their wedding attires. However, that did not happen. She explains, “My wedding dress wasn’t delivered to me on time, so I couldn’t coordinate it with Vivek’s.“
The couple spoke to media people after the varmala ceremony. Truly a monsoon wedding, it started raining in the middle of all the wedding ceremonies, but the couple wasn’t complaining. “We always wanted it to be a monsoon wedding. Baarish se mahaul ban gaya,” Divyanka told reporters in Bhopal, where she tied the knot with Kawach actor Vivek.
Divek will not have any time to relax though. They will head to Chandigarh for their reception now, which is scheduled for tomorrow. “Uske baad Mumbai mein party,” shared a beaming bride.
