‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’, a love story previously titled ‘Mera Tera Rishta Purana’, is an Indian soap opera on Star Plus. It first aired on 3 December 2013, and airs daily. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms. The story revolves around Ishita, who is a Tamilian, and Raman, who is Punjabi. Ishita is barren and gets attached emotionally to Raman’s daughter, Ruhi, who lives with her divorced father. Raman’s ex-wife Shagun, lives with her boyfriend Ashok and Adi, her son with Raman.

While we knew for a fact the kidnapping segment was introduced to cover up Divyanka’s absence on the show considering she was busy with her wedding. Which is why even the entire last week we only got to see Ishita tied in a sack, leaving her family distressed. But not any more guys. Ishita is back to fight it out.
In the upcoming episode, Raman(Karan Patel) gets a call from Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi), all try to track the number that Ishita had called from. Raman, Mihir, Mani and Romi make a plan to get more information out of Ashok about Nidhi. But everyone is surprised to find out that it is neither Ashok nor Nidhi who have kidnapped Ishita. But later, it is revealed that Raman’s lawyer is the kidnapper’s boss. The goons try to kill Ishita, but Ishita manages to escape from the cluthes, by chance. Ishita finds herself in the main goon’s house, she tries to escape but fails. Raman and Ruhi come to the same house but because of the goons around, Ishita is unable to meet them.
Nidhi tries to get Ruhi back, saying that the time given by the judge has passed. Ishita is able to runaway from the clutches of the kidnappers and returns to the Bhalla house. Ishita tries to bond with Ruhi, but does not succeed. Anil calls the goon’s number which Ishita has taken while escaping, Raman plans to catch Anil red-handed. Raman gets Anil arrested for kidnapping Ishita. Ruhi and Ishita both decide to stay back at the Bhalla house because of Mani.
