Ajith 57th Film Goes On Floors: Finally the wait is over. After keeping us in the waiting mode for long, the official launch and pooja of Thala Ajith’s 57th film will happen in Chennai today.
After Vedhalam and Veeram, director Siva is all set to join hands with Ajith for his next project. As of now, the title hasn’t been confirmed so it’s Thala 57 for now. Reportedly, Ajith is playing an FBI agent. And the film has finally gone on floors. The crew began with a pooja where everyone involved with the film was present. According to reports in a leading daily, most of shooting will take place abroad.

The yet to be titled film currently referred to as ‘Thala 57’ will be produced by the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Movies banner. The film is touted to be a action flick that will be reportedly shot in various locations across Europe.
Further to the reports, the Baahubali actor Anushka Shetty will be paired opposite Ajith. but there have been no confirmations on this. The duo have already worked before in Yennai Arindhaal. Music composer Anirudh Ravichander was also present. After composing music for his last film Vedhalam, he is all set to spin some magic for this one as well! Anthony L Ruben will be editing the film.

Kabilan Vairamuthu the younger son of veteran lyricist Vairamuthu has been involved in this project and we have to wait to know whether his role will be limited to lyrics for the songs or he has also taken part in script discussion.

Ajith’s manger Suresh Chandra has confirmed that the pooja of ‘Thala 57’ will take place today. Ajith who underwent a surgery after the release of ‘Vedalam’ in November 2015 took rest as advised by doctors for several months and he is now back with a bang to what the business.
