Last year, Priyanka Chopra’s career received a new lease of life when her performance in ‘Mary Kom’ received a positive response from critics and audiences alike.
Now, there is some more good news for ‘PC’ and her fans. The actress’ look in ‘Gangaajal 2′ has been revealed. Featuring the star in the role of a tough cop, the film is a sequel to ‘Gangaajal’ which starred Ajay Devgn. Just like the first part, ‘Gangaajal 2′ has been directed by Prakash Jha.
‘Gangaajal 2′ is the sequel to the hit 2003 movie with the same name which featured Ajay Devgn in the lead. Though the director could not rope in Ajay in the movie this time, he got Priyanka on board. Reportedly, the ‘Ugly’ actor Rahul Bhat will also be seen as one of the protagonists of the movie. It is being speculated that Prakash Jha will make his debut as an actor with Gangaajal 2. The movie will go on floors soon.
Priyanka is busy these days with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and American television show ‘Quantico’.
