Gethu, the film directed by Thirukumaran was earlier slated to hit the screens on December 18, 2015. But the unexpected floods which hit Chennai spoiled all the plans, and as a result makers of the movie postponed its theatrical release.
As per reports, ‘Gethu’ will make its way to the screens on Pongal, 2016. It should be noted that many anticipated projects which include, Kathakali, Rajini Murugan and Tharai Thappattai will also hit the screens during the same time.
Gethu has Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead role. Amy Jackson will romance Udhayanidhi in this flick. The movie is touted to be a high voltage action thriller with adequate commercial elements.
Music of ‘Gethu’ is expected to be out on December 25, 2015. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music of this movie.
