Hate Story 3 is the third installment from the “Hate Story” series from T-series films. This one is directed by Vishal Pandya who did direct “Hate Story 2” as well. The movie has a plot of betrayal, love and lust for power. A successful business man Aditya Diwan (Sharman Joshi) along with his wife Siya Diwan (Zareen Khan) starts a new chapter in his life, which gets interrupted by a stranger Saurav Singhania (Karan Grover) stepping in and ruining it, this pretty much forms the crux of the story.
The first movie in this series was a soft porn, with Paoli Dam making a fool of her acting skills, then with keeping the title as their weapon to lure the audience they came out with a sequel “Hate Story 2” starring Jai Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla. The second movie was kind of good with some really good performances by the central characters. Now the third one fails terribly making history repeat itself. Vishal Pandya who did a good job on the second movie lost his touch in this sequel. He lost focus of the story and emphasized on the female leads lustrous figure.
Sensuality is good when it’s done tastefully infusing in to the script, which was not the case with HS3. The performances by the central characters were bad, seeing Sharman Joshi doing roles of this sort breaks my heart as he’s one good actor. Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah were the luring factors in the flick with no scope for acting. Karan Singh Grover was over cooked six pack who was in competition with the ladies of the flick.
The movie has nothing but posh erected sets with sexy bods showing off. The story is so old that anyone would direct it in their sleep. Wonder why few crores were spent on a disaster like this. Just when you think that you have seen enough nonsense they present you with a fiasco in the name of climax which literally throws you off the edge.
Zareen Khan Looks stunning with her deadly curves, music was good with decent cinematography.
Verdict: The makers of this flick should stop “Hate Story” series at this juncture and move forward with some decent movies. Vishal Pandya can do better than just presenting hot bods. Sharman please don’t make a fool of yourself again.
