Silambarasan, the young Superstar in Tamil Cinema is running through the midst of controversies as the Beep song fetched him various Police complaints from many corners. As a partial relief for the actor, the High Court of Chennai have now asked Silambarasan to appear before the Chennai Crime Branch Police for an enquiry.
The High Court judging panel also made it clear that the charges against Silambarasan are bailable in nature. It should be noted that Silambarasan along with musician Anirudh Ravichander has looked for anticipatory bail when cases where charged against them under provisions of the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
Complaints were lodged against both Silambarasan and Anirudh Ravichander by The All Indian Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) stating that the duo has insulted Indian womanhood in the most pathetic manner. The beep song is loaded with mean words, and most of them were a real insult to the woman community.
In defense, the actor told that he has sung these songs in personal circle, and he do not had any intentions to leak it in public. He further added that the leaked songs are in a scratch rough format without complete lyrics and in an incomplete version which are not intended to use for public listening.
