Gautami, who makes a comeback in Tamil films with Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Papanasam, has asserted that she had always been a huge fan of Kamal Haasan and would continue to remain so in future too.
Gautami was taking part in the audio-launch of the Telugu version of Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Uttama Villain held at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Saturday. Ramesh Aravind has directed the film which has Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Urvashi, Parvathi Menon, Parvathy Nair, Nassar, Jayaram, Chitra Lakshmanan, Anant Mahadevan and Shanmugarajan in lead roles. Music director M. Ghibran has also made a ‘special appearance’ in the film.
Legendary playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam took part in the audio-launch as a special invitee. Speaking at the event, Gautami said “I have been in the film industry for many years now and starred in number of films as heroine. I have crossed many stages in my life. Having seen everything, I still remain a great fan of Kamal Haasan. I was his fan, I’m his fan now and I will remain his fan forever in my life.
“Uttama Villain has all elements in a single package and would become a huge hit on the lines of Kamal’s Swati Mutyam and Sagara Sangamam,” she concluded.
