A tailormade story for sports movie lovers: Irudhi Suttru portrays Madhavan in the role of a rugged Boxing coach. The film begins with his story in Delhi, where he gets expelled from the Boxing department due to alleged sexual harassment charges. To be clear, the sexual harassment case is a fake one fabricated by a boxing official. Challenging the baddie, Madhavan aims to find a talented boxer from Chennai, and his journey ends up at Ritika Singh aka Madhie. From then, the movie showcases the story of Rithika who finally ends up as a world known boxer.
Director at his full form: Sudha Kongara is completely successful in showcasing this story. The director has paced both the halves well, and there is not even a second of boredom in the whole proceedings. The first half is thoroughly interesting in nature, while the latter part may seem little cliched. But overall, with some interesting twists and turns, Sudha Kongara has made this movie an impeccable one.
Awesome performance from lead stars: Madhavan as a rugged and raw boxing coach has done full justice to his role. Rithika Singh on the other hand is the unquestionable attraction of this movie. This actress who is a real life boxer has done well in boxing scenes, and it clearly indicates her punching power and strength in real boxing rings. Some scenes of Rithika Singh will surely pull you to a state of Goosebumps.
