Early life and education

Jesse Watters was born on July 9, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was raised in the Germantown and East Falls neighborhoods. He went to William Penn Charter School during his junior year, and then moved to Long Island, New York City. Waters later attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, from where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 2001.

In June of 2014, Waters debuted on the daytime talk show “Outnumbered”, which features four female panelists along with a guest male panelist. Over the years, he made additional occasional appearances on the show as a guest co-host. Later, in November 2015, Waters debuted her own program on Fox News titled “Waters’ World”. As a writer, Waters wrote the book “How I Saved the World,” which was published by HarperCollins in July of 2021. The book debuted at number one on the New York Times nonfiction bestseller list.

Controversy, Part 1

Throughout his career, Waters has attracted heavy criticism for his innumerable false, inflammatory and racist remarks. In early 2017, he falsely claimed that Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta gave his password to a hacker, and that his password was “password”. Later, Waters said that climate change “wasn’t such a big deal.” He also defended Donald Trump’s policy of separating children from their families.

Waters had another brawl in 2009, when he and his cameraman ambushed journalist Amanda Terkel during an assignment for “The O’Reilly Factor”; Terkel was on vacation at the time. Seven years later, Huffington Post journalist Ryan Grimm approached Waters with his phone in hand and asked him to apologize to Terkel. Waters later grabbed Grimm’s phone and threw it to the ground, leading to a fierce match between the two men.

Controversy, Part 2

In 2016, Waters drew further criticism for a segment of his show “Waters’ World”, during which he recorded racist conversations towards Asian Americans. In the segment, he asked Chinese-Americans if they knew the Japanese game of karate; In addition, he asked them if they should bow down before greeting, and if they were wearing stolen watches, the song “Kung Fu Fighting” was playing in the background the entire time. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called the segment despicable and racist, while several other lawmakers and journalists also condemned Waters.

In the summer of 2020, Waters received further backlash when he praised right-wing conspiracy group QAnon during his show.

Waters married wife Noel K. married Inguagiato; Together, they have twin daughters. The couple divorced in 2018 after Waters reportedly admitted to having an affair with his producer, Emma DiGiovine. He later married DiGiovine in the summer of 2019. The couple had a son in 2021.
