Pa. Ranjith to team up with Suriya: Director Pa. Ranjith, who currently awaits the release of superstar Rajinikanth-starrer “Kabali”, confirmed on Sunday that his next film will be with actor Suriya.

Talking to reporters at the audio launch of Telugu dubbed version of “Kabali”, Ranjith said he’ll be teaming up with Suriya next. Suriya is currently shooting for the third installment in the “Singam” franchise.
Pa Ranjith revealed this, ”After ‘Kabali’, I’ll be working with Suriya sir. This project will go on the floors after he wraps up ‘Singam 3′.” Suriya has impressed everyone with his triple act in 24, which was directed by Vikram M Kumar. After Singam 3, his project with Pa Ranjith is definitely something to look forward to.
Pa Ranjith and Rajinikanth’s Kabali is one of the most awaited Tamil films of the year. The teaser and the songs have already impressed countless viewers and will hit the screens worldwide on July 15. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Radhika Apte who plays his wife in the films. The music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, The Neruppu Da song has already became a huge sensation on YouTube.
So ever since it was announced that Rajini’s next movie will be directed by Pa.Ranjith, whose ‘Madras’ movie was both critically acclaimed and a commercial hit, expectations started soaring high and every small detail of the movie has become top news material.
Kabali is Rajnikanth’s 159th film and he will be playing the character of a don. Rajini’s previous avatar as a don was in the1994 movie Baasha in which he portrayed a stylish Mumbai based don. The movie was a massive hit. Rajini’s character is speculated to be based on a real life don in Chennai and Rajini is seen sporting a white bearded look for the character.
Rajinikanth’s Kabali will hit the screens worldwide on July 15.
