Kalpana started her career as a child actress, and later she emerged as the comedy icon of Mollywood. Through her easiness in acting and charisma, the actress captured a million hearts. Her roles in movies like ‘Kauthukavarthakal’, ‘Pidakozhi Koovunna Noottandu’ and ‘Ishttam’ were too impeccable in nature, and it still lives in the minds of Mollywood lovers.
Kalpana has acted with all major stars of Mollywood which includes, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi and Dileep. Her last movie which hit the theaters was Charlie alongside Dulquer Salmaan. In this movie, she played the character of Queen Mary, a frustrated wife who wishes to unleash the colors of life. The film showcased her death in the most artistic manner, and finally she also said Adios to the audiences with a sad smile on her face.
