Selva. The film was an adaptation of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night. and it was well received by the audience.

Kamal Haasan is joining hands with malayalam veteran TK Rajeev Kumar for the second time. Chanakyan was the first film directed by TK Rajeev Kumar with Kamal Haasan. after a long gap of 26 years the actor, director duo have come together for this film. the Ulaga Nayakan starrer will be a trilingual film to be made in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. the film will also have Amala Akkineni and Zarina Wahab in the lead roles.
