Indian is a 1996 tamil film written and directed by Shankar, which is produced by A. M. Rathnam. The movie features Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and Goundamani in the lead roles.
According to the latest reports, A.M. Rathnam confirmed that Kamal Haasan’s superhit film Indian will have a sequel. “There were discussions on Indian 2”, but there were no suitable scripts ready for this sequel. he added. Reports also suggest that, A.M. Rathnam and director Shankar discussed about the sequal and if the movie will happen, it will go on floors after the completion of Shakar’s much awaited movie Endhiran 2.
A.M. Rathnam is busy with the release of his upcoming production venture “Vedhalam”. The movie which is written and directed by Siruthai Siva. Which features Ajith Kumar, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. The movie is slated to release on this Diwali.
