Kathilantodu movie starring Chiranjeevi directed by V.V.Vinayaka is one of the most awaited film in tollywood.After taking so much gap,Chiranjeevi is back to films in full length role in Kathilantodu.
Chiranjeevi, who ruled the Telugu film industry before 2008 when he entered politics with the creation of his own regional party Praja Rajyam, is all set to return to the silver screen after a long gap of eight years. The former union minister and Congress MP began shooting his 150th film Kathilantodu in Hyderabad.

Chiranjeevi was last seen in Shankar Dada Zindabad (2007), a remake of super hit Hindi film Lage Raho Munna Bhai starring Sanjay Dutt as hero.
Going by the few leaked pictures from the sets, Chiru looks uber-cool in his costumes, and his fans have every reason to cheer for the excellent work done by his daughter Sushmita.
A remake of the Tamil smash hit, “Kaththi”, “Kathilantodu” is being directed by VV Vinayak, and has Ram Charan in his debut role as producer. With the shooting progressing at a brisk pace, the makers of the film are hoping to wrap it up in the next four months and are targeting the release early next year. Chiranjeevi will be seen in dual roles, as a petty thief and a rural leader who fights for farmers’ rights.

As per the latest news,it was known that the first look teaser of Kathilantodu will be on August 22nd.As the film starts rolling from june 23rd,the film completes some portion of shoot until then and hence maker can release a small teaser as a gift on chirus birthday.
