Katrina Kaif has recently revealed that she is playing the role of a NGO worker in the Phantom. Talking of her role, kathrina told that, “These NGO workers have ties with local fanatical groups in these countries. People like them work in conflicted zones like we have seen in films like Spy Games. My character has contacts with various people from radical groups”.
“When Saif’s character meets mine at the start of his mission, he receives limited help. Because, my character has taken a step back from the world of aggression and she is able to provide help in a limited capacity. But then situations lure her into joining this ghost mission” , She continued.
The action thriller film directed by Kabir Khan has been banned in Pakistan. The film, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mumbai Avengers, the flick is all set to hit the theatres in India on August 28.
