Mukesh, the evergreen hero in Mollywood has a reasonable fan following in all nooks of the state. The actor is still stylish and energetic even though he is running through his fifties. The star is now gearing up with his next movie as a solo hero which has been titled ‘Kattumakkan’.
The film is being directed by Shalil Kallur who has previously made ‘Dolls’, a youth oriented thriller which failed to make big impacts in the Box Office. It should be noted that Dolls was a well made flick, even though its Box Office verdict was pathetic.
‘Kattumakkan’ is expected to be a commercial comedy family entertainer, and it will have all the elements which are considered to be pre requisites in a Mukesh flick. Many sources claim that this movie is such a vintage flick which will take us back to the 1990s where family oriented movies ruled the Mollywood Box Office.
Mukesh will be seen in the role of a middle aged man named Madhavan in this movie. Things were going fine in his family till the day an unexpected person entered the scene. The struggle of Madhavan to combat the difficulties in life forms the major crux of the movie.
Anju Nair is enacting the role of heroine in this movie. The film is jointly produced by MJS Media and Mathew Arracken. Shine Issai and Murali is composing the music of the film, while the lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahammed, Rajiv Alunkal and Sajeev Navakam.
