North Korea is literally continuing its one man show in front of the whole world, as the country under the leadership of Kim Jong un tested hydrogen bomb, a more powerful weapon than the atomic bomb.
Through this test, North Korea has loudly proclaimed its efficiency in the nuclear arena, as they are conducting nuclear test for the fourth time since 2006.
This nuclear test from North Korea has not gone well with other world countries. South Korea criticized this action telling that the hydrogen bomb test is a grave provocation to their National Security. Japan too announced their concerns ver this test.
In the midst of all these issues, The United Nations Security Council is all set to hold an Emergency meeting today in New York.
India too reacted to North Korea’s move by issuing a statement
“We have seen reports that DPRK has conducted a nuclear test today. We are assessing the available information, including claims that this was a thermonuclear test. It is a matter of deep concern that DPRK has again acted in violation of its international commitments in this regard. We call upon DPRK to refrain from such actions which adversely impact on peace and stability in the region. Our concerns about proliferation links between North East Asia and our neighbourhood are well-known”, read the statement from India.
