After the big success of blockbuster hit Baahubali, Prabhas become the youth icon of Bollywood. According to the latest reports, the makers of Dhoom 4 approached Prabhas to play the antagonist in the movie. A source close to the makers reveals that, “A while ago, film-maker Aditya Chopra, director Vijay Krishna Acharya and other members of Aditya’s production house had asked for a special screening of Baahubali. It was while watching the film that they thought of casting Prabhas, The Dhoom franchise is such where the villain, who is the hero, is supposed to be strong and brawny. Prabhas fits the requirements perfectly”.
A few days ago it was reported that Hrithik Roshan will make his return to Dhoom franchise through Dhoom 4 and it is also heard that Amitabh Bachchan will be seen sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 4. Surprisingly, a source close to the makers also suggests that Hrithik Roshan who was said to play the main lead in the film is apparently having just a cameo in Dhoom 4 while Prabhas will play the male lead in the film. Recently, Dhoom 4 production team have mentioned to a newspaper that these are mere rumours and an official announcement on the movie will be made soon.
Prabhas is now busy with his upcoming project Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is the second instalment of the blockbuster hit Baahubali: The Beginning. The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli and Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. the film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep appear in supporting roles. Baahubali: The Conclusion is slated to release on 1st December 2016. The pre-production work of Baahubali: The Conclusion has already begun. The makers is gearing up to start the shoot of Baahubali Part 2 in the half of November. It is also heard that Baahubali: The Conclusion may be pushed back to 2017 due to shoot in various locations.
