This time again the junior Mary Kom is again into news for a very special reason. After the Mary Kom, she is no where considered for normal movies, the producers and the directors are approaching her for some high budgeted movies. “Bajirao Mastani” is one such movie which can take the beauty to another level. Reason behind it was obviously, the great and inspiring personality ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ who is the director of the film.
Ranveer Singh plays the title role ‘Bajirao’ and Deepika Padukone is selected for the 2nd part of title, that is, ‘Mastani’, who are together “Bajirao Mastani” which forms the title of the film. Deepika plays his second wife Mastani’s role and Priyanka Chopra plays his first wife Kashi Bhai, a typical Maharashtrian lady.
Its not just the role, but Priyanka Chopra is taking the issue very personally and she wants to portray the typical Maharashtrian lady and for this she is going to wear 85 Maharashtrian traditional sarees, which are called Nauvaris (nine yard sarees), thus bring a new color to this period drama.
To bring a natural Maharashtrian flavor for the sarees, the fashion designers working on the movie started researching on the various clothing and dressing by visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves, and Shivaji Museum in Pune.
Its still long way to go for the release of the movie, so all the Priyanka fans, you are left with no choice, other than to wait till the movie is out.
