Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film, directed by filmmaker Pa.Ranjith was in news since quite some time. Earlier, Onmanorama had reported about Ahalya actress Radhika Apte roped in opposite to the mega star.
Now, we hear that the movie is titled as Kaali. However, official confirmation from the makers regarding the same have not been made yet.What comes as a real surprise is that in 1980, Rajinikanth had acted in a film titled Kaali, directed by I.V. Sasi and the actor’s character name in the evergreen classic Mullum Malarum, directed by Mahendran, was also the same.
Interestingly, the title Kaali has another connection with director Ranjith. The name of the lead character in Ranjith’s critically acclaimed and super hit film Madras, played by Karthi, was also Kaali.The Ranjith film will start rolling in the first week of August in Malaysia.Will Kaali’s latest outing on big screen impress the audience? We will have to wait and see.
