Ram Gopal Varma is widely touted to be one of the most versatile filmmakers in Indian even though his films have been tasting failures for the past few years. The director is now gearing up with the release of ‘Killing Veerappan’, a movie which showcases the events which led to the killing of Veerappan, an alleged Sandalwood smuggler.
The recent news from the corner is regarding the finalization of release date of this movie. According to reports, this film will hit the screens on January 01, 2016 in theaters all across the country.
Earlier, release of this movie was postponed many times due to court cases. The movie will have a theatrical release in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Kannada Superstar Shivaraj Kumar has enacted the role of commando team leader in this movie.
Sandeep Bharadwaj, a renowned theater artist has enacted the character of Veerappan in the flick.
