Stylish Star Allu Arjun S/O Satyamurthy has received an overwhelming response from audience around the world, on its opening day and it has beaten the first day collection records of Arjun’s last outing Race Gurram, Jr NTR’s Temper and Pawan Kalyan’s Gopala Gopala.

It is the second time Trivikram and Allu Arjun teaming up after Julayi. Considering the hype surrounding the film, the makers planned for a grand release and booked over 1400 screens across the globe. They also made advance booking available and the movie registered around 65% booking for its opening day on Thursday, 9 April.

In several places, the benefit shows of S/O Satyamurthy started as early as 4.00 am on Thursday and most of the theatres witnessed huge amount of footfalls in this special show. The movie registered an average of 85 percent to 95 percent in the regular morning shows.

According to the latest reports, S/o Satyamurthy has collected approximately ₹8.50 crore at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office on the first day. It has become the biggest opener for Allu Arjun, beating the record of Race Gurram, which had raked in ₹6.89 crore on its opening day. The movie has received very good response in the international markets as well as other north and south Indian centres. It has raked in ₹5 crore from its screening in all these areas.

Early trends show that S/o Satyamurthy has collected approximately ₹13.50 crore nett at the worldwide box office on the first day.
