Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Gautham Menon. The film stars Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Manjima Mohan in the lead roles. while Baba Sehgal and Daniel Balaji in the supporting roles.
Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is a bilingual project being filmed simultaneously alongside Gautham Menon’s Tamil film version titled Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada. which features Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles.
Earlier the tamil version of Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo was initially titled Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai in December 2013. The title refers to lyrics of the song “Nenjukkul Peidhidum”, from Menon’s 2008 film Vaaranam Aayiram. However, the title could not be retained as the producers K. Ethiraj and Dr. Saravanan completed a different film with the same title which was censored and tax exempted. However, in February 2015, the title as Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada.
The film features music composed by A. R. Rahman. Though principal photography commenced in November 2013, in June 2014, filming was temporarily postponed until Menon completed his other project Yennai Arindhaal with Ajith Kumar, and restarted on February 21, 2015.
