Salman Khan and Sunny Leone Are Most Searched Bollywood Celebs: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and the former porn star turned Indian actress Sunny Leone have been named the most searched actor and actress in the last ten years on Google.
Google has been doing a bit of soul searching and Bollywood being the top favourite in India, here’s what came up a list of Indian cinema’s ‘most searched’, hence the most popular stars, from the last decade. The list also includes the most searched directors, movies, singers, ‘classic actors’ and ‘classic actresses’.
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is the most searched Indian actor while Sunny Leone tops searches for Indian actresses on Google, the company said in a press release on Friday.

Salman’s court cases and blockbusters are two major reasons why he has grabbed headlines often. His private life is also something that is closely followed by fans and covered extensively by the media, especially when it has something to do with the affairs.
Sunny first came into the limelight with her “Bigg Boss 5” appearance. Later, she went on to sign films and emerged successful. Recently, the leading lady shot with Shah Rukh Khan for an item number in “Raees.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar were close competitors at second and third slots in the actors’ category. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was ranked at fourth and Rajnikanth came fifth on the list. Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Emraan Hashmi makes the Top 10.

Katrina Kaif closely followed Leone on the list of most searched actresses while Kareena Kapoor, Kajal Aggarwal and Deepika Padukone were ranked third, fourth and fifth on the list. Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, Tamannaah, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha makes the Top 10.
Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva occupies the top spot among the most searched directors, with Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar at the second and third spots respectively. PK is the most searched Indian film of the decade, followed by Kahaani and the Telugu blockbuster Bahubali. Honey Singh is the most searched Indian singer on Google, while Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha top the ‘classic actor’ and ‘classic actress’ categories.
