Sara Khan Entering In Kawach: While Mahek as Manjulika, who is the lead protagonist haunting Paridhi and the Bundhela family, turns out Sara may enter the show as her sister who is in human form.
Kawach recently beating Divyanka Tripathi-starrer Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s TRP, one can easily tell how good the show is doing. The supernatural show that premiered on June 11, a week after Naagin’s first season was over, has clinched the top spot in Indian television its first week itself.
Rumors are held that Maheck Chahal, who plays the role of a demon spirit named Manjulika in the show, will soon be replaced by TV actress Sara Khan. it wasn’t due to things turning sour between her and the makers but because of her health issues.
Maheck recently suffered a ligament tear and chip fracture on her knee and the doctor has advised her to take complete bed rest for now.
Due to the show’s hectic shooting schedule, it was getting tougher for the Wanted actress to recover. As a result, the producers of the show has decided to rope in Sara Khan to play the role of Manjulika.
However, as she had already made her commitment to the show, she decided to work as much as she could. But as her health kept deteriorating hence causing a trouble to the producers of the show. When we had approached her on the same, she told us, “I don’t know if Sara’s character will be named Manjulika or not. That is the creative call of the producers. I tried my best to give my cent per cent for the show. Sadly, my leg is not healing as I am not able to give it the rest it requires. I started work just after my accident when I was told to rest and there is hardly any improvement in my leg so far. I have reached a point where I am risking a lifelong injury to my knee if I continue.”
