Furious 7, the 7th installment of the successful ‘Fast and Furious’ series is out now and that means we will all get to see the late Paul Walker on the big screen one last time.
When Paul Walker tragically passed away midway through the shoot of Furious 7, Universal Pictures and director James Wan faced a difficult task – how to complete the film without Paul Walker? But thanks to modern technology Universal Pictures was able to complete Furious 7 and release it on time.

Universal Pictures have declined to give away the tricks that they used in order to breathe life back into Walker’s character. Because the producers want people go into this movie not fixated on trying to work out which is Paul, which isn’t Paul.

The reports suggest that Paul Walker was brought to life by Peter Jackson’s Weta Digital VFX the same company that made ‘The Lord of the Rings’ ( Shanker’s I). The producers used unused footage of Paul Walker from his previous movies. That’s not all! The producers also brought in Paul Walker’s look-alike brothers Caleb Walker and Cody Walker, a stuntman, to act as body doubles and finish Paul’s remaining scenes. When combined these with CGI, carefully chosen camera angles and the right lighting, they are the spitting image of Paul. And here is the result!
