Shourya, the latest Telugu romantic thriller film, which is written and directed by K.Dasaradh hit the theaters on 4th March 2016 and the film has been receiving mixed reviews from all corners. Most of the people who have watched the movie are praising director K.Dasaradh for delivering such a fine flick.
The film features Manchu Manoj and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. This marks the second time that Dasaradh and Manoj have worked together, after their first film Sri in 2005.
Shourya Movie Review – the movie starts with Shourya (Manchu Manoj) helping his friend get a 300-crore project and surprisingly opting out of it himself, for the reason of love. Shourya and Nethra (Regina Cassandra) choose to leave the country, as Nethra’s family does not accept their inter-caste relationship. One last wish that Nethra has before leaving the country is to spend a night in her village , the one where she spent her childhood. The first twist unfolds here, in the tenth minute of the movie, and what follows from this twist has to be seen on the big screen.
The basic plot of Shourya is so intriguing that it keeps the viewers glued to their seats until the last minute. Manchu Manoj as Shourya has put on extra weight to get into the skin of the character and carry out his role seamlessly. He looks more mature as an actor and has grown by leaps and bounds. Regina has become more glamorous and gave her best for her role as Nethra. Prakash Raj as the investigating police officer is a perfect fit for his character.
