Sonam Kapoor, the ravishing young lady in Bollywood has represented India in many International platforms. In a recent talk, the actress revealed that she has faced many issues related to racism during these trips.
The actress made this statement addressing a session on the first day of Agenda Aaj Tak 2015. During the talk, Sonam Kapoor also made statement about the rising intolerance which has been the hottest talking topic in the nation.
“Intolerance is a term with broad aspects. During my International trips, I have faced racism in many countries. They see brown skin and they judge you already. When I go abroad people already have their perception, like we are always in parda”, says Sonam.
As per Sonam Kapoor, Intolerance is something which is prevailing in our city for years.
“The dialogue on intolerance is great. I feel when there is a discussion and a country is ready for the dialogue its good. But at the same time I feel intolerance has always been there. We have seen all kinds of riots in the past 60 years. We have too many religions, languages and cultures, but at the same time there will always be judgements. But the fact that people know about it is a very healthy aspect”, added Sonam.
According to Sonam Kapoor, the words of Aamir Khan on intolerance were not irrelevant but a little bit extreme in nature. The actress think that the extreme nature of Aamir Khan’s words were behind the wide spread uproar which happened the nation.
