Sonam Kapoor is excited about playing Neerja Bhanot a flight attendant on Pan Am Flight 73 which was hijacked by terrorists on September 5th, 1986.The brave lady not only helped a number of passengers escape through the emergency door but also gave away her life in saving three children from the terrorists’ firing.
Directed by Ram Madhvani, the biopic on Neerja Bhanot happens to be a much awaited one and the look of Sonam Kapoor for the role goes very well with the brave lady. Sonam tweeted with the caption reading, “Hello everyone! This is me as Neerja! In our tribute to Neerja Bhanot. This is my most special film..thank you @foxstarhindi @blinglive (sic)”.
