The latest installment of the space opera began shooting at London’s Pinewood Studio on Monday. the film starts from the first meeting of Rey and Luke Skywalker on the planet of Ahch-To, with Rey offering him his old lightsaber.
Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and it is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski. the film continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. the essembled cast includes Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is planned to be released on December 15, 2017.
