Style, the new malayalam movie which stars Unni Mukundhan and Tovino Thomas in the lead roles hit the theaters on January 2, 2015. Expectations were sky high about this movie, as it is directed by Binu S, who has previously delivered a blockbuster through the movie ‘Ithihaasa‘. ‘Style’ is distributed by ace director Lal Jose’s LJ Films and this was another major reason behind the pre release hype of the movie.
As always, Film Dhamaka team watched the movie First Day First Show and we are hereby sharing our genuine review about this flick.
‘Style’ showcases the story of Tom, a charming young man who is a car mechanic. He leads a happy life with his parents and brother, and soon, he falls in love with Divya. Things takes a new turn, when Edgar, a psychic car mechanic enters the scene. The remaining part of the movie portrays the clashes with these two characters.
As the name indicates, this film is loaded with style in all departments. The cinematography and stunt scenes in the movie reminded us of big budget Telugu flicks in which we have seen hero thrashing villains in air. The story is cliched, but Binu S overcomes this negative factor through fast paced story telling method.
Unni Mukundan’s charm and Tovino’s charisma are the main highlights of this movie. Unni looks slim, and he showed all the signs of emerging as the next action hero in the industry. Tovino as always did full justice to his role. His screen presence is something unquestionable, and he deserve a special round of applause for his portrayal as Edgar in this movie.
Altogether, Style is one such movie which will satisfy the needs of commercial movie lovers. You can watch the movie without any hesitation, and chances of disappointment will be very less.
