Thanga Magan, the movie directed by Velraj marked the reunion of Dhanush with the director after the much successful ‘VIP’. The film which hit the theaters on December 18, 2015 succeeded in impressing the critics, but the film failed to meet the expectations of Dhanush fans.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson have done the roles of heroines in this movie. Dhanush enacted the role of a common Tamil guy, and these heroines become his better halves in various phases of his life.
Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music of this movie, and all the tracks were well received by critics and audiences.
