Theri, the much awaited film of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, which is written and directed by Atlee is the most trending topic in Kollywood now. Theri is an upcoming tamil action crime film which is written and directed by Atlee. The movie features Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Amy Jackson in the lead roles and also features J. Mahendran, Prabhu, K.S.Ravikumar and Raadhika Sarathkumar in the supporting roles.
Earlier, G V Prakash Kumar has tweeted that he will unleash the lyrics of ‘Theri’ intro song on December 01, 2015. Now, he has kept his word, and as promised, he has revealed the first lines of this ‘Ulaga Thara Local’ song.

Thennisai Thendral Deva has sung this song, while the lyrics is penned by Rokesh. this song will have all the elements demanded to satisfy the needs of Ilayathalapathy fans. The first look posters of Theri is released on November 25th. The first poster shows Vijay in a very ferocious get up. The actor is holding a gun in his hand, and he looks stylish than never before and the second poster adds up the mystery elements of the film. In this picture, we see three different get ups of Vijay, a police officer, a spectacle man and another mass look.
Theri is produced by V.Creations and the background score and soundtrack is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by George C. Williams and editing is handled by Ruben while production designed by T. Muthuraj. The film expected to release in summer 2016.
