Tollywood Celebs Participated In Haritha Haram Campaign: Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Rakul Preet Singh,Rashi Kanna and a host of other Telugu celebs took part in Green Hyderabad drive Haritha Haram by planting saplings in various places in the city. K Chandrasekhar Rao, chief minister of Telangana, recently launched a campaign called Haritha Haram, which is aimed at bringing ecological balance, which is the only solution for many problems in the city. The Govt wants to increase the green cover from the present 24 percent to 33 percent by 2020. It has planned to plant 230 crore saplings in the next four years.
Akkineni Nagarjuna invited all his Twitter followers to take part in the program Haritha Haram. The actor tweeted on July 10, “Let’s all plant a tree tomorrow and join the #HarithaHaram program to make our world green.”
On Monday, Nagarjuna planted saplings at Annapurna Studios and Jubilee Hills police station. Besides posting photos of the event, the actor wrote: “Annapurna Studios staff and myself planted trees for the #HarithaHaram initiative.we promise to continue doing this.” He added: “It was nice to see the Jubilee Hills police at the #HarithaHaram to plant trees along with us”
Actor Rana Daggubati planted saplings in Nanakramguda on Monday morning and took to his Twitter page to inform his followers. Besides posting the photos, the Baahubali star wrote: “Good Morning!! This is how my day began! Tree plantation in Nanakramguda!! Make urs as green!! #HarithaHaram.”
Chiranjeevi, Akhil Akkineni, Allu Arjun, Regina Cassandra, Lakshmi Manchu, Rakul Preet Singh, Rashi Khanna and a few other celebs shared their photos on Twitter and Facebook after they planted saplings. They also requested their followers to do the same.
